Via TVbythenumbers:
ABC’s V dropped 29% To A 3.7 adults 18-49 rating on Tuesday night. That’s the largest % drop from a premiere to a second episode this fall. Even with that big drop, a 3.7 rating is very good. V is still likely to be ABC’s #3 show this week behind Desperate Housewives and Grey’s Anatomy, but where it settles is what matters, and that will likely not be known until it returns in the spring. For reference, for ABC scripted dramas the current “danger zone” is below a 2.7 rating.

Via THR Feed:
ABC’s “V” premiere was Tuesday’s highest-rated program in the adult demo, cracking usual leader CBS’ drama-series choke-hold on the evening.
“V” was seen by 14.3 million viewers and had a 5.2 rating among adults 18-49.
That’s the biggest scripted series premiere rating for a freshman show this fall. And particularly impressive for a show that’s self-starting ABC’s lineup (it’s the highest-rated 8 p.m. drama series debut since … ABC’s “Lost,” actually). Compared to the “Shark Tank” average in the time period, “V” was up a rather dizzying 213%.
